Anime
Yes, it's a not so secret pleasure of mine that I enjoy anime. I love the clean lines and artistry. A few of my favorite titles are below:
- +anima
- Absolute Boyfriend
- Fullmetal Alchemist
- Ouran High School Host Club
- Yugioh
- Yugioh GX
- Yu Yu Hakusho
I've read lots of titles but I only tend to buy these.
I would love suggested titles from people. I do read Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat when I can find them. Yes, I'm a child. I admit it. I refuse to grow up. I have to age, but no one said I had to stop enjoying life. ::raspberries::
And yes, Ouran High School Host Club is a current favorite. What's not to love? A bunch of super rich, super cute guys who are totally clueless about the rest of the world. Every stereo-type, plus a lot of humor.
Huni-sempei is my favorite with the twins running a close second.

::Take big step back::
Japanese Anime is not something I follow. Sorry.
LOL - That's okay. You don't have to like everything I do. It would get boring.
I know, and boring is not of the good!
We do, however, share a love for Elfquest, unless I remember wrong...
Nope, not me. I haven't played. Never had the time when I had the interest. It's cool. I tend to dig elves... fantasy... adventure...
Not game, the comic! Darn it! We've talked Elfquest before, I know we did!
I... Elfquest? Um... pretty sure it wasn't me.
I'm still pretty sure it was you. Back in the AIM days. You were the only one I allowed to see me while unavailable.
If we did, I'm sorry. I have totally forgotten. Could be my efforts to blot out a lot of what happened with V-Unit.
Don't worry about not remembering, it was a couple of years ago...
Wow, time flies when you're not having fun, doesn't it?
LOL - Sure does.
He's been putting out feelers to see if he could get me back. I'm like "part-time, when I'm available, after I see money, never full-time for you again."
LOL, that's gotta hurt his over-inflated ego, don't you think?
Could be me Witchy, I love Elfquest. Have all the books. Started with B&W indie comics, now have the full color graphic novels. Hooked my son on them too.
Oh, and HA! Knew V would come crawling back to you! Make him grovel, make him whine and beg, make him PAY you!
LOL - Actually, V can't afford me back. I'd be demanding things like I have here and he can't match that. He gets part-time work when I'm available and after I see money.
I enjoy the work, I don't enjoy doing it for free.
Hi ShadowRider ::Waves::
Actually, this was on AIM. And I don't think we've ever talked on any IM of any kind... Well, that just sucks!
Well, DUH! Kiri, no one enjoys doing work for free, no matter how much they like their work. I love my tasks at work, wouldn't do 'em for free, I'll tell you that!
Yeah, well... he seems to think that not paying is okay if the client isn't happy with the work BUT USED IT ANYWAY. No, you used it, you pay. Period. Or lawsuit.
Not worth the efforts... I will work when I see green.
::Points at Kiri::
Word!
::bows::
Thank you. Thank you. Now... I need to get back to work. I still have two outstanding... er... three outstanding tasks.
Someone's birthday was today. I didn't know. We sent an intern out to buy a cake. The intern's back back I didn't see him bring in the cake.
Gotta go check on this.
::Doors crash open, violently! There, a disheveled Kiri stands, panting for breath. Hair hanging into her wild eyes::
'Where's the freaking cake???'
Yep, I can see it now... Maybe you can dip your fries in the glazing?
I was most subtle than that. I emailed him going 'I didn't see the cake.'
He replied 'I'm finishing a project. It's still early. Relax.'
I waited 15 minutes and sent 'go now?' I mean, the birthday boy is pouting thinking we forgot his birthday and don't care. GET THE F*CKING CAKE NOW!
::sigh:: Just because he's the CFO's son... geez... he acts like he's got clout.
You subtle? With cake in the house? I have serious doubts!
Subtle. Very.
Now I need to go sneak it from the CFO's office to the lunch room and then get someone else to lure him into the break room.
::Cue theme from Mission Impossible::
he wasn't actively working on a project so I couldn't have the project head call for a strategy meeting so I instead walked up to the cluster of interns (birthday boy's desk is in that set although he's a new hire and not an intern) and said "I need help sorting some papers for a project. It'd take me two hours, but together I think we can get it done in 30 minutes. Come on."
They grumbled (not him) and followed me. SURPRISE!
Yay! Bet they stopped grumbling soon enough!
Yeah, hard to grumble with cake in your mouth. Mumble, yes. Grumble, no.
